Sex & The City Is Coming Back To TV!
Since Sex And The City‘s debut on HBO in 1998, girls and women alike have been drooling over Carrie’s wardrobe, those Manolo’s, and crying with her through her up and down and up again relationship with Mr. Big. Thank gosh for happy endings. But aren’t we all just dying for the story to just keep going! Well, there’s been a few of whispers about a new SATC movie which would be a prequel based on Candice Bushnell‘s two novels, The Carrie Diaries and Summer in the City. Those whipsers have now grown into full on rumors with a strong possibility of truth. The producers met last week in Hollywood to discuss a huge television comeback for the four fashionistas. This of course might put a hold on the film.
An insider told Daily Mail - “Ultimately Darren Star the man who created the hit series ― will have the overall say but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise in. Sarah Jessisa Parker will be producing. She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to “Sex And The City 2″ movie but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen.”
I have to agree with SJP although I loved the first film, the second film just didn’t have the same amazing storyline. It was totally over saturated with fashion labels (can that really happen), and who really would have told their boyfriend they kissed another man thousands and thousands of miles away.
Well, I’d obviously watch anything they produce so bring on Season 7 please!
