OPI Launches The Muppets Holiday Collection

On Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

You may not be as excited as I am for the release of Walt Disney’s The Muppets this November, but you can get glammed with OPI. The nail polish giant pays homage to our favorite Muppet characters just in time for the holiday season launching twelve limited-edition Nail Lacquers.

“OPI is so excited to work with Disney to celebrate this long-awaited movie release,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Not only do The Muppets characters inspire fun, bright and joyful colors, the fashionable Miss Piggy lends her name to three high-shine pink-based hues, ranging from bold red flecked with silver to a multi-dimensional strawberry shade.”

The line features textured glitters in rainbow, red, green and blue, shimmery shades of reds, and softer shimmers in copper and bronze metallic hues. And just like the other collections from OPI, this one is dubbed with crazy cute names – Animal-istic, Meep-Meep-Meep, Wocka Wocka!, Pepe’s Purple Passion, Warm & Fozzie, Designer, de Better!, Rainbow Connection, Excuse Moi!, Gone Gonzo!, Fresh Frog of Bel Air, Divine Swine, and Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It!. That one might just be a winner for me.

This limited edition collection will be available beginning November 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN).
