Singer and Grammy Award winning songwriter, Stacey Barthe, has penned tracks for popular artists including Rihanna, Katy Perry and Melanie Fiona – just to name a few. After working behind the scenes for several years, the Brooklyn native has stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight with her own material. She recently released a video for “Keep It Like It Is,” off of her “In the InBetween” EP. The song tells of Stacey’s decision to remain apart from the one she loves although she secretly pines for that person. “I don’t wanna open any pandora box, I don’t wanna regress/ At this point let’s just keep it like it is,” she crones over a reggae influenced beat. Check out the official video  below:
