It’s still difficult to convey to the older generation that there are teenagers in the world who actually watch the news and have an opinion on social issues. Victoria Pannell, a young activist from Harlem is doing just that and more.
Victoria is adamant about knocking down that barrier that lends to the belief that young men and women don’t need to have a voice. At 14, Victoria is seasoned in tackling issues like gun violence, child trafficking, broken homes, unsupervised children, the lack of community enrichment, jobs and the lists goes on. Her projection and confidence in speeches are moving and so inspiring. She could definitely teach a thing or two about public speaking!
We’re so happy to salute Victoria, we’re eager to see what the future holds for her!
Be amazed at the 4:16 mark!
